The End.

Multimedia message, originally uploaded by crystalw07.

A few photos from my trip to buy Harry last night:

I was running late and got to Wal-Mart around 11:45pm, just as they were wheeling out the books.

Very blurry photo of the line. I was actually quite surprised- I came to this Wal-Mart to get book 6 when it was released, and there were only about 20 people there. This time, there were over 100 people in line in front of me! (Keep in mind this Wal-Mart is in a town with a population of 402!). I had originally planned to go to the party at Barnes & Noble like I did for book 5, but my ears hurt like crazy going to Springfield, and it would also mean an hour and a half in the car to get home before I could start reading. (Plus at least an hour of waiting in line!) By getting it at Wal-Mart, I had it in my hands at 12:05...

Just before grabbing my copy. Once they let the line start moving, it flew!

The picture at the top of the post was taken just before I paid- 12:16am! I would have been out faster if I hadn't been silly enough to get in the checkout line behind someone who had a cart full of groceries! But I had fun talking to the two women behind me (one of whom looked EXACTLY like Katherine Heigel.) I was a little paranoid that some idiot would flip to the back chapter and shout out the ending to the store, but nothing happened. Whew!

I finished reading this afternoon (I had planned to read straight through, but I gave in about halfway around 6am, because I had taken in so much information that I thought my brain would explode!). I'll post about the book itself sometime soon- I want to wait to avoid spoiling those who haven't read it yet, but also to recover from the emotional exhaustion of the story. There were parts that made me incredibly happy, and parts that broke my heart. A lot to go through in one day.
