Seriously, Fed Ex?

I got all excited because the DAY after I placed my e.l.f. order (see past post), I got an e-mail saying it had shipped. WOO to the HOO! Everything I've seen has said that it took people like 3-6 weeks to get their orders, so I wasn't expecting to hear anything for ages!

The email contained Fed Ex tracking info, but said nothing would be up for 12-24 hours. I checked this morning, and it showed my packages as leaving NJ, where I guess the e.l.f. HQ is. I just checked again, and this is what's up:

Jul 22, 2010 6:54 AM--Departed FedEx location FEDEX SMARTPOST EDISON, NJ

Jul 22, 2010 9:50 PM--Arrived at FedEx location FEDEX SMARTPOST MARTINSBURG, WV

Um, that's IT? That didn't seem like much of a journey, so I Mapquested it. It is a FOUR hour drive. It took Fed Ex 15 hours to move my stuff that far? Out of curiosity, I also Mapquested from the starting city to my house, and it was 19 and a half hours. So, if my package had ACTUALLY been on the road for 15 hours, it should at least be in Missouri by now, not still on the frickin' east coast.

Fed Ex lists an estimated delivery date of July 28. That is SIX more days, for those of you who are as good at math as I am. I mean yes, there is a Sunday in there, but still.. how do you turn a 20 hour journey into a SIX DAY one? Are they stopping at each state line to let my eyeshadows pose for souvenir photos?
