Paris Fashion Week (kinda)

I was about to give up on posting anything about Paris Fashion Week. Several dozen shows in, nothing had caught my eye. How weird is that? I think that part of the problem is that there were a LOT of all white collections, which just don't do it for me. I don't care how perfect your tailoring is or how interesting the shapes are, I need SOME kind of color in there somewhere!

Finally, finally, the opening look at Vivienne Westwood grabbed my attention.

Actually, it wasn't the dress but the makeup. It looks like a collage where someone cut a heart shape from one image and pasted it on another.

The first actual outfit that caught my eye was this ensemble by L'Wren Scott. I LOVE that black pleated fabric over the non-pleated patterned skirt! Definitely pinning this look for future inspiration!

There are still more shows to come, so hopefully things will be looking up! As for myself, I should totally get some sleep since I have to be up for the thrift store's bag sale in 5 hours! Cross your fingers that I score some awesome stuff!
