London Fashion Week! Part 1

Okay, yes, we're finished with New York. I came across this too late and had to include it anyway!

NYFW is over, so we're off to London! If you don't already know, I'm kind of obsessed with London. I'd love to live there temporarily someday. However, London Fashion Week usually doesn't have as many designers that I love, when compared to New York, Milan, and Paris. That said, here's what caught my eye so far!

Jonathan Saunders put out one of those collections that isn't quite my taste, but that I can see the brilliance behind. I really like what's going on with this multilayered dip-dyed skirt, and while I wouldn't wear those open-toed moccasin things, at least they're original.

I'm posting this image from the Julien Macdonald show entirely for that dress that's walking away. That is one hell of an exit. Wow. A lot of the looks in this collection made me think "Wow, that's something", but others looked like cheap lingerie bits you might pick up at your favorite adult store for $12. An unusual mix.

Julien with two noteworthy looks.

I'm in love with this L'Wren Scott look. No fancy explanation, just love.

Feline prints are totally hot right meow. I'm such a trendsetter. (This look is Markus Lupfer.) There's also a sweatshirt and a dress in this fabric. Whoa.

Speaking of cute animals, this Mulberry show is the second or third runway that I've seen dogs on this season!

I love dragonflies and have been in search of dragonfly print fabric to make a dress from for AGES, so I would kill for this Matthew Williamson dress! Beautifully done.

Y'all know I'm a sucker for a lighthearted collection, and I have to admit that I would totally wear this flamingo dress from Moschino Cheap and Chic. I love their little dangly legs! I almost feel like this entire collection takes place at a pool party at a trailer park in south Florida.

Although I liked the fabrics used in other looks much more, I'm totally digging the exaggerated hourglass shape of this Peter Pilotto dress!

I still have a few London shows to catch up on, and Milan has already begun! Loving it all!
