New Music From David Gray!

Listening to a new album from one of your favorite artists or bands is always a little weird and exciting. Will it be similar to your old favorites, or will they go in a totally different direction? I've been a David Gray fan for over a decade (his "Live at the Point" dvd was the soundtrack to many sleepless nights) and I found this album to be a combination of new and old. The sound is unmistakably David Gray, but the overall vibe is a little different. I put it on repeat on a rainy summer afternoon earlier this week, and it fit the mood perfectly.

Mutineers Track Listing:
Back in the World
As the Crow Flies
Beautiful Agony
Last Summer
Snow in Vegas
Cake and Eat It
Birds of the High Arctic
The Incredible
Girl Like You
Nearly Midnight (bonus track)

I've only had time to listen to the whole thing a handful of times so far, but I think Snow in Vegas and Back in the World are my favorites.

He already did a sold out US tour to promote the new album and is about to start a UK tour. More US dates are supposed to be announced soon, I'd love if there was one I can go to!

You can find Mutineers on Amazon and iTunes! It will be officially released on June 17.

Disclosure: I received a free download of the album to review from One2One Network. All opinions are my own.
