Sneak Peek: Dress In Progress!

Blogging every day is HARD, you guys! Once again it's almost 11 p.m. and I'm just now remembering that I need to post today. I figured that I'd show you a sneak peek of what I've been working on most of the evening!

Spectacular, eh? The correct answer is no. No it is not. But it will be! I'm turning this ugly thrift store dress into something awesome. (And not three sizes too big.)

I'm not sure how clearly you can see it in this photo, but the outdated shiny buttons don't even match! Some are silver, some are gold.

So far, I've removed the sleeves (possibly adding them back later, depends on how it goes) and snipped off the collar. Once again, I have to pretty much reconstruct the entire top part of the dress to make my plan work. I really need to figure out an easier way to do it, because the method I've been using is a pain!

Cross your fingers that I'm able to finish it up without TOO many headaches, and that the final product is as great as I'm hoping!
